Satyam Computer Services Ltd on Tuesday announced the signing of a multi-million dollar deal with the prestigious New Bangkok International Airport-Airport information Management System.
Satyam is a part of a consortium ASIS (Airport System integration specialists) led by Siemens whose other members are ABB, ABB Airport Technologies and SAMART (a Thailand based company), which bagged this order, a company release said in Hyderabad.
The $8 million order was won through a global tender for design, development and integrating the state-of-the art airport information management systems planned for the New Bangkok International Airport christened as the 'Suvarnabhumi' Airport.
The airport is expected to be operational by September 2008. It is expected to be the largest in Asean, it added.
