CBI sources told PTI that Bose, a Rajya Sabha member, had received the summons on Tuesday.
Bose, who also owns the popular Bengali daily Pratidin, once employed the suspended Trinamool Rajya Sabha member Kunal Ghosh, now behind bars for his alleged role in Saradha affairs, as editor of the newspaper.
Meanwhile, former DGP of West Bengal Rajat Mazumdar, who was arrested by CBI on Tuesday after his questioning also in connection with the Saradha scam, was being treated in a government hospital after he complained of chest pain.
He was admitted in the intensive care unit last night shortly after his arrest and several tests were conducted on him.
