Investigations into the death of Air Works technician Bharat Borge, who found pebbles in Anil Ambani's chopper, is likely to be closed soon in the absence of any evidence to suggest that he committed suicide.

"We have not found any evidence to suggest that his death was a suicide and will be submitting a report soon stating that his death was an accident after which investigations will be closed," ACP (GRP) Prakash Sawant told PTI.

The suicide note, found near Borge's body also failed to indicate his intention to take the extreme step, he said.

Borge was struck by a train at suburban Vile Parle on April 28 while he was crossing the tracks. The technician had found the pebbles in the gearbox cap of Ambani's helicopter.

Subsequent investigations did not find any evidence of him being intimidated by anybody, police officials said.

Two persons, both Air Works employees, were arrested for planting the pebbles.
