"We will be investing the entire amount in various infrastructure projects in the country within the next few months. Projects worth Rs 300 crore (Rs 3 billion) are already on hand," Pranati Group chairman and managing director Dipankar Sen said.
The group, started by ex-Tata Steel managers, has joined hands with Badsha Group and is implementing a Rs 205 crore (Rs 2.05 billion) Build-Operate -Transfer project at Haldia in West Bengal.
Sen said another Rs 160 crore (Rs 1.6 billion) BOT project in Haldia for ozonised water treatment was in the pipeline.
"We received a proposal to this effect from Haldia Development Authority about two months back. We have already submitted our plans and a final agreement is likely to be signed by March, 2005."
He said the company has received Centre's approval for converting a 333 km stretch of National Highway 33 between Barhagora and Barhi in Jharkhand and final agreement would be signed within the next two-three months.
