HTC has unveiled the HTC Desire 820, the successor to its popular HTC Desire 816 smartphone.
The Desire 820 will be available in two variants — one powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon octa core processor and another variant, the Desire 820q, with a quad core processor.
It also unveiled the HTC Desire 816G, a new dual SIM variant to the HTC Desire 816.
Priced at Rs 18,990, it comes with a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera.
Keeping an eye on the upcoming festive season, the company has decided to ship the Desire 820 and 820Q in early November.
The Desire 820 will be the flagship device in HTC's Desire line of smartphones.
The Desire 820 comes with a 5.5-inch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Running on Android 4.4.4, with HTC Sense and BlinkFeed, the device comes with 16 GB onboard memory, which is expandable up to 128GB. It is supported by 2GB RAM.
The Desire 820 also has dual frontal stereo speakers powered by HTC BoomSound. It has a 13 megapixel rear camera and an eight megapixel front-facing cam.
All the three devices will have a dual nano-SIM slot and come with a 2,600 mAh battery.
