Google India on Tuesday launched the latest range of its Nexus phones in partnership with LG and Huawei starting at Rs 31,900.
The devices, which run on the latest version of Android Marshmallow 6.0, are likely to be available in the market starting early November.
LG expects to sell about one lakh Nexus devices this festive season while Huawei did not give exact number but said it has got about 20,000 to 30,000 units orders from its partners.
"India is now the fastest growing smartphone market in the world, and it's exciting to launch our newest Nexus phones here. We're looking forward to the Nexus 5X and 6P delivering premium experiences for Indian users," David Shapiro, global director of Chrome and Android Marketing, Google said.
The devices are available for pre-orders through Amazon and Flipkart. The devices will also be available at retail stores.
The Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch screen, 2GB RAM, 12.3 MP rear and 5MP front camera and a 2,700 mAh battery.
The Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch screen, 3GB RAM, 12.3 MP rear and 8MP front camera and a 3,450 mAh battery.
Both the devices feature fingerprint sensors and fast charging (with USB Type-C port).
Google has also slashed the price of the Nexus 6 in India to Rs 33,800 (for 32GB), while the 64GB variant would now be available at Rs 37,600.
