Perot Systems, which had a joint venture with HCL till December 2003, has been growing its headcount in India by 25 per cent to 30 per cent since it bought over the Indian partner. India accounts for one-thirds of the total workforce of the company.

"We have invested $8 million on the campus," she said. With the launch Perot has established delivery capabilities for all its service offerings in India, Ravichander said.

Infrastructure services account for 48 per cent of Perot's worldwide revenue. The company was earlier doing application development and business process services in India, which account for 38 per cent and 14 per cent of the revenues.

The company currently has 400 people and we would double the number in 2006, Mike McClaskey, vice president - infrastructure solutions and chief information officer at Perot said.
