IT consulting and services provider Patni Computer Systems Ltd on Tuesday announced the appointment of Loek van den Boog as an independent director on its board.
Loek, who is currently the chairman of abaXX, has significant exposure to international markets, which would support Patni's initiatives towards acquiring new clients in the US and Europe, the company said in a release.
He has extensive experience in M&A, public offering and funding through private equity and venture capital, it said.
