Piyush Pandey was elected the vice chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific by the agency's regional board on Friday.
Pandey will continue as executive chairman and national creative director, O&M India. Last year, Pandey was inducted into Ogilvy's worldwide board.
Miles Young, chairman, O&M Asia Pacific said, "While Pandey remains firmly based in India, we need his management counsel up and down Asia. India is becoming quite fundamental to many of our clients' strategies in this part of the world. When Pandey speaks for India, he also speaks for Asia."
