MSN India on Wednesday announced the launch of its revamped home page, the addition of four new channels to it -- Lifestyle, Entertainment, News and Sports -- along with services such as Windows Live Domains, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Search and special effects (SFX) advertising packages.

"The Web is moving to 'My Web'. Microsoft believes that the PC computing experience increasingly includes an online view. He added, " We also decided to launch a whole new range of Windows Live products for the users in India."

The new and improved look of the home page features a more vibrant and user-friendly interface. It features better graphics, and the desktop TV (started around eight months ago) portrays images of better quality, more value-added content and additional channels and integrated advertisements. MSN India claims to have slightly over 250 advertisers on its site.

MSN India also announced the launch of the Windows Live Domains. Now users can have their own domain names such as yourfamilyname.com or auniquename.com and create unlimited amount of free email accounts as a closed group or an open to all in the respected domain.

Everyone on the user's domain will get a Hotmail account, which can be upgraded to Windows Live Mail Beta for free. The online player also unveiled the new special effects (SFX) advertising packages it had specially created for the revamped portal.
