The new variants are petrol GLX model and two diesel LX models -- in turbo-charged diesel with intercooler and direct injection common rail engine options, the company said.
The Tata Indigo CS, launched at the Auto Expo at New Delhi in January 2008, has boosted sales of the company's Indigo range of sedan, which clocked over 84 per cent growth this fiscal at an average of 4,400 units per month.
The launch comes ahead of the festival season, during which automakers hope to improve sales after going through a downturn.
In August, Tata Motors sales declined by six per cent at 15,573 units, as compared with 16,620 units in the same month last year.
The Indigo family sales, however, recorded a growth of 104 per cent at 4,460 units over the same period last year.(PTI)
