Malaysia Airlines on Friday launched their new online promotional return airfare of Rs 8,000 for passengers travelling to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

The return airfare would be applicable for travel before May 15, 2006 and valid from New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad and can be booked till April 30, a company release said.

An additional charge of Rs 500 would be applicable for a stopover at Kuala Lumpur for passengers en route to Singapore. The charges are exclusive of taxes, it said.

"Initiatives like these will create value for money for travellers. This customer centric scheme has been timed so as to capture the growing outbound summer season," Malaysia Airlines Regional Manager South Asia Christopher Yek said.

Malaysian Airlines operates 27 flights each week from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
