The company said it has tied up with Indian content providers like Ndtv.com, Hungama.com, Indiatimes.com and Zapak.com for local Indian content.
'Smart TV' allows access to thousands of movies, customisable applications, videos and the ability to browse the web through an easy to navigate interface, LG Electronics India said.
"LG Smart TV's have been designed to provide endless options of entertainment.
Eventually content is going to be the key differentiating factor for the consumer; therefore, we have taken the lead in providing an excellent mix of global as well as India specific contents for our Smart TV buyers," LGEIL's managing director Soon Kwon said.
The Smart TV will be available in 14 Stock Keeping Units from 32" to 55" with a price range of Rs 43,000 to Rs 170,000.
