Google Inc co-founder and one of the world's wealthiest men Larry Page will tie the nuptial knot with his girlfriend next month.
The marriage will take place on December 8 at an undisclosed location,
The San Francisco Chronicle reported on Tuesday.
Page's girlfriend Lucy Southworth is a bio-medical informatics doctoral student at Stanford and has been dating the Google co-founder for well over an year.
Page, 34, founded Google as a Stanford University computer science doctoral student and today, he is Silicon Valley's richest bachelor with a fortune worth about $20 billion.
Many current and former Google
employees are expected to attend the wedding, along with Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin business empire, and San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, sources said.
Former Vice-President Al Gore too was invited but he expressed his inability to come as he will be in Oslo, Norway, on December 10 to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
However, Gore hoped that he would make an appearance at the wedding via video conferencing.
Six months ago, Google's another founder, Sergey Brin, married longtime girlfriend Anne Wojcicki, a biotech entrepreneur. They too kept the wedding, held in the Caribbean, a secret until it was solemnised.
