Provider of mobile devices and applications i-mate on Wednesday introduced a new enterprise solution 'i-mate Suite' and said it will set up its subsidiary in India for distribution.

It hopes to tap the growing Indian market for high-end converged mobile devices, which is expected to increase about 175,000-200,000 units by growing at the rate of 40 per cent this year.

The company's first office would be set up in Delhi and later it will move to cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai, head of Indian operations of i-mate Pankaj Mohindroo said.

"The Indian market for Windows mobile devices will grow up to 40 per cent this year. The company has all the resources to effectively serve this market, particularly because all our devices are customized to suit individual markets," i-mate Global Sales Director Jack Craine told reporters in New Delhi.

"The subsidiary, wholly owned by i-mate, will ensure a strong and reliable Indian presence."

The company also launched a new enterprise solution 'i-mate suite', which consist of three modules that enable businesses to go mobile without losing control of either security or data.

Commenting on the new software solution, i-mate director technology Jon Moss said, "i-mate suite is the missing link in the management of productive mobility tools for enterprises.

By integrating this suite to its existing IT infrastructure, organisations can gain access to a fully managed end-to-end solution for their mobile device needs."
