Leading IT solution provider HCL Technologies Ltd has signed an agreement with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd for implementing its comprehensive drug labeling framework, Easy Labeling Solution, developed specifically for pharmaceutical companies.
The solution would enable Glenmark to streamline drug labelLing, manage product information lifecycles and comply with the USFDA's structured product labeling regulations.
It would assist the global pharma company, the first in India to implement an SPL compliance solution, to leverage the solution for customers around the world.
"Glenmark has chosen HCL's easy Labeling Solution because it promises to complement its efforts to improve management of the product information lifecycle. Taking this initiative forward, we are already reaching out further and in dialogue with five-to-six top Indian pharma companies for implementing the easy Labeling Solution," vice president and head for the Global Life Sciences practice at the company Pradep Nair said.
HCL's easy Labeling Solution enables content creation in XML format through a user-friendly browser-based interface. This helps pharma companies to easily create, manage and intelligently reuse product information for regulatory filings and meet the FDA's new SPL guidelines that became effective in June 2005.Do you want to discuss stock tips?
