The keenly-awaited Hexa is here, and sports many Tata firsts in the premium SUV segment.

Tata Hexa, the latest entrant in the premium SUV segment, was finally launched in Mumbai on Wednesday, at a glittering ceremony in Hotel Renaissance, Powai, at a base price of Rs 12.09 lakhs (ex-showroom in Maharashtra).

The keenly-awaited vehicle will be available in five colours: Pearl White, Arizona Blue, Tungsten Silver, Sky Grey and Platinum Silver.

While the base price is for the manual transmission variant, the automatic variant, a first by Tata in this segment, starts at Rs 14.98 lakhs.

Also for the first time, a Tata vehicle in this segment will need an oil change only after 20,000 km or once a year, whichever is earlier.

The Hexa comes with a warranty policy of three years or 100,000 km, whichever is earlier.

Additionally, customers will be offered an engine warranty of three years or 150,000 km. Extended warranty will be available at a price.

The Hexa’s periodic service schedule is at 10,000 km or six months.
