Eicher Ltd plans conduct a due diligence exercise prior to sell Eicher Demm Thane unit. The company said its gear business comprising Eicher Demm Thane unit and Eicher Demm Parwanoo EDP unit incurred a loss of Rs 52.40 million before interest and other un-allocable expenses and Rs 12.20 million before interest and other un-allocable expenses for the financial year ended March 31, 2002 and for the period of nine months ended December 31, 2002 respectively.
