European Aerospace major EADS on Tuesday said it will invest Euro 2 billion (about Rs 11,000 crore) over the next 15 years in India.

The company will set up a technology centre in the country, which will also include Airbus' engineering centre. The centre is expected to start operations from next year.

"India is a priority country for EADS as it offered market potential and solid aerospace and defence competencies," EADS CEO Tom Enders said.

Enders said the company will also facilitate the creation of training centers for pilots and mechanics as well as maintenance and distribution centres in India.
