The world's largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul centre will be established at Dubai World Central Aviation City in Jebel Ali in Dubai.
"The MRO centre will be the world's biggest in land area earmarked for development, and will be able to handle all types of aircraft from light jets to super-jumbos such as the A-380", said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Dubai Civil Aviation, as he unveiled the final master-plan at the airshow in Dubai.
The Aviation City's strategic location within the Al Maktoum International Airport will give potential investors an advantage to reach regional and international clients alike, he said.
