Sundar was born and raised in Chennai, did his schooling at the city's Jawahar Vidyalaya and Vanavani Matriculation before getting a BTech degree in metallurgical engineering from IIT- Kharagpur.
One of the nicest guys in Google made his reputation with the successful Android project, which he led.
And, of course, with Chrome. Sundar was the mastermind behind Google's browser at a time when it was thought there was no need for another browser.
Chrome is today the world's leading Web browser, displacing market leader Internet Explorer.
All this success made him a contender for Microsoft's CEO's job when Steve Ballmer stepped down, but we know who got that job.
First Satya, and now Sundar! Indian techies rock!
