Audi R8 launched at Rs 2.47 crore
The Top-end V10 Plus grade packs a 610 PS 5.2-liter V10.
Audi India has launched the second generation 2016 Audi R8 at the Auto Expo 2016 in Noida.
Available only in the top-end R8 V10 Plus grade, it is priced at Rs 2.47 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
The R8 V10 Plus outputs 610 PS, and is equipped with a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox as well as quattro AWD system. It is capable of hitting 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, before reaching a top-speed of 330 km/h.
The new R8 is also 10 percent more fuel efficient than the outgoing model thanks to an all-new Space Frame which has reduced its weight by 50 kg.
Standard features on the new R8 include LED headlights (Laser headlights are an optional fitment), dynamic turn indicators, a virtual cockpit system and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The second gen R8 will be produced for the globe at a new site in Heilbronn, Germany. It will be imported to India through the CBU route.
Audi S3 Cabriolet
The Audi S3 Cabriolet Sports a 296 hp 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine.
The Audi S3 Cabriolet, the performance variant of the Audi A3 Cabriolet, measures 4,434 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width and 1,388 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,596 mm.
The performance variant sits 21 mm lower, thanks to the S sport suspension.
The turbocharged engine can be had with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed S tronic transmission.
Audi SQ5 TDI
It is powered by a 321 hp 3.0-litre TDI diesel engine.
The Audi SQ5 TDI is 4,644 mm long, 2,089 mm wide and 1,624 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,813 mm.
The S variant sits lower due to the sport suspension.
The interior features black trim, lunar silver headlining, power-adjustable sport seats in Pearl Nappa leather/Alcantara, leather upholstery in a choice of four colours, 3D-design S badge in gray instrument dials, S gear lever knob and S badges on the door sill trims, the engine start button and the distinctive steering wheel.
The Audi SQ5 TDI, as the name suggests, is available only with a diesel engine.
Under the bonnet is a 3.0-litre TDI turbocharged V6 diesel unit, producing 240 kW (326 PS) and 650 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via the 8-speed tiptronic transmission.
Audi A6
Adding fuel from the last year’s speculations about the Indian launch, the Audi A6 allroad quattro is being showcased at the Auto Expo 2016.
The adventure-styled variant of the Audi A6 Avant is 4,938 mm long, 2,086 mm wide and 1,452 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,905 mm.
Adaptive air suspension is standard on the allroad variant. Noteworthy interior and assistance features include electrically adjustable front Sport seats, MMI Navigation Plus with 8-inch colour display, 10-speaker soundsystem, Audi Side Assist (Blind Spot Indicator), Audi Active Lane Indicator (Lane Departure Warning system) and Adaptive cruise control.
