"The daily wage of NREGS would be hiked from Rs 100 to Rs 150 from International Labour Day (May 1)," he said after attending various development programmes at M Nagulapalli village in West Godavari district.
A total of 50 lakh labourers are working under the NREGS in the state, he said. Equal wages would be paid to both male and female workers without any discrimination, Vasant Kumar added.
