Air-India announced on Tuesday that all its flights routed via Delhi to Western destinations would be operated as per the normal schedule with effect from Wednesday.

All flights to various destinations in the Gulf are also being operated. The operation of flights to Nairobi/Dar-es-Salaam, which had been temporarily discontinued would also be resumed from May 12.

Flights on the Mumbai-Chennai-Singapore sector, which had been recommenced with two flights a week, were being stepped up to three per week and were expected to gradually go up in the coming weeks.

These flights  will be operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. However, flights to Hong Kong and on the India-Bangkok sector via Guwahati would remain cancelled till September 14 due to poor load factors.

Air-India's flight schedule, disrupted by the agitation of the pilots owing allegiance to the now de-recognised Indian Pilots' Guild, has been almost restored, the airline said.
