Aditya Mittal, son of Indian steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal is the only Indian on the list, which is topped by Internet search giant Google's co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
Larry Page and Sergey Brin, business publication Fortune said: "They're still under 40 -- and worth some $14 billion each."
The report noted that despite challenges like antitrust investigations, growing concern over privacy and copyright issues and a fall in ad revenue this year -- Google with a market value of $174 billion is fast expanding into new categories like mobile devices and software applications.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was ranked in the second position, while News Corp's James Murdoch secured the third spot.
On Aditya Mittal, the magazine said: "Many an heir has been accused of not paying his dues, but the son of Indian steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal cut his teeth as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston, then joined his father in 1997 -- and worked his way up to become the company's well-respected CFO."
