A fire broke out on Friday at the eighth floor of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) building at Dalal Street in South Mumbai, fire officials said.
The blaze broke out around 1415 hours in the multi-storeyed building due to a short circuit, they said adding four fire engines and a water tanker were rushed to the spot.
No casualties have been reported so far, they added.
