Satyam Computer Services has formed a new team to look into its day-to-day affairs, following the resignation of its chairman Ramalinga Raju.

The interim CEO of Satyam, Ram Mynampati, has sent a letter to the management and staff, announcing the formation of a new team.

"You have helped to build Satyam to be what it is today and we believe that this cannot be allowed to fail, at any cost," he wrote. A copy of the letter is with PTI.

The new Satyam team consists of persons who have spent 10 years in the company and twenty years in the industry, Mynampati said.

"These are the leaders on the ground and have always had the final call on most

customer and associate related matters in the company," he said.

The interim CEO said that the current quarter would be "tumultuous" and expected support from employees to deliver to its customers. "This quarter will be tumultuous for us. I am confident that I can count on your continued support as I commit to our customers that we will ensure deliverables and commitments are serviced," he said.

The interim CEO apologised to the staff for the uncertainty and incovenience caused by the turn of events this morning.
