Dismissing the bail petitions of Raju brothers and V Srinivas, a local court in Hyderabad granted permission to the I-T department to examine and record the statement of B Ramaling Raju in the Rs 7,800 crore (Rs 78 billion) Satyam fraud case.
The 6th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, which dismissed the bail petitions, also allowed market regulator SEBI to quiz Pricewaterhouse auditors S Gopalakrishnan and T Srinivas, who audited the Satyam's accounts, on
Thursday between 10.30 am and 4.30 pm in the Chanchalguda jail.
Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, who has already been questioned by SEBI, would be interrogated by the I-T department on February 21.
It is for the second time that the court is dismissing the bail petitions of Raju brothers and V Srinivas who are in judicial remand till February 21.
