Murdered CEO's company undecided on future

The segment chief executive officer of Italian auto-parts manufacturer Graziano Tranmissioni, whose India head L K Choudhary was allegedly lynched by workers in Noida, said the company is yet to decide on its future course of action in the country.

"My priority is to see that injured get proper medical care and all the help is extended to the grieving family of Choudhary," said CEO Marcello Lamberto, who rushed to India in the wake of the murder of company's India head on Sunday.

Lamberto went to Choudahry's residence and met the family members to express condolences on the behalf of his company.

After that, he went to Kailash Hospital where the injured executives and workers have been admitted.

Lamberto held a meeting of the officials in the factory premises amidst heavy security and large posse of policemen.

The situation in the area remained tense as police detained more than 136 people in the connection with the killing.

Chaudhury, CEO of Graziano Transmissioni, was allegedly beaten to death at the company's plant in Greater Noida on Sunday by a group of dismissed employees after a meeting called to resolve dispute between them and the management failed.
