Inflation slips slightly to 11.8%

Even as horrifying news of carnage in the global financial and stock markets spread gloom and doom across the country, the inflation figures were something to cheer about.
Inflation slipped to 11.8 per cent during the week ended September 27. Inflation stood at 11.99 per cent in the week prior to that.
