Wuxi City woos Indian IT firms

China's Wuxi City Chief Executive Yang Weize on Tuesday invited Indian IT and software companies to set up their units for a deeper cooperation in service outsourcing.

Weize, addressing Wuxi-Bangalore business seminar on service outsourcing cooperation agenda in Bangalore, said his IT city boasts of prominent advantages, broad markets and promising opportunities for developing the service outsourcing industry into a pillar industry in the coming decade.

Stating that developing the international service outsourcing industry has become Wuxi strategy, he said "We are looking forward to the attention and support from Indian service outsourcing circle for a wide and deeper cooperation."

"We also plan to construct 20 high-level service outsourcing parks in the next two years as part of promoting the industry," he added.

He said during the current visit, the delegation proposes to sign at least ten agreements with Indian companies, including NIIT, for training 10,000 manpower a year.
