US Pizza is also planning to open more than 40-45 outlets in European countries such as Norway, Sweden, Germany and France and in domestic front, it is planning to enter a new city every month as they are looking to tap new markets by entering tier-II and tier-III cities.
"We are planning to open more than 1,000 outlets across the country in the next three years and to open these outlets, the company is going to invest more than Rs 500 crore," Akbar Khwaja, MD, US Pizza told PTI.
The company has already sold 49 per cent stake to Mumbai-based Kotecha Capitals and is talking to various other groups for raising the money through longtime debt.
US Pizza is following the franchise mode for the expansion, according to which the company would enter into a master franchise agreement with a single player in every state.
Today, it has announced the signing of an agreement with Rajkot-based Royal Eateries for opening 20 outlets in the state, mostly in Saurashtra region following the franchise mode.
The company would be focusing more on tier-II and tier-III cities to take the advantage of its comparatively better supply chain. Besides this, it has also chalked out the plans to open more than 25 flagship outlets in the country which will be owned and run by the company itself.
