What is your forecast for the markets?
October 26, 2007
The roller-coaster ride continues... After conquering the 19,000-mark on October 15, the Sensex saw its biggest-ever crash on October 17, when it lost over 1,700 points . The markets crashed in the wake of Sebi's proposal to tighten participatory notes (PNs).

On October 18, the market crossed the 19K mark after assurances from the government that participatory notes will not be banned. However, the markets could not sustain the gains, it plunged again below 18,000 points.

Today, the Sensex crossed the 19,000-mark again and hit new heights on the back of brisk buying by funds, after Sebi cleared its stand on P-notes.

What do you think about the Sensex rise and crash? Have you profited from the Sensex rise? Have you lost money?

How have you been affected? Will the markets rise further or will a correction set in?
