Mumbai ranks low as financial hub. Your say

Mumbai, India's financial capital, is way behind other world cities in the Index of Competitiveness.

Mumbai is ranked 39 in the index of competitiveness of 46 financial centres across the world.

A study by Global Financial Centres Index shows London and New York as the only two truly global financial centres.

Hong Kong has secured the 3rd rank, while Singapore has bagged the fourth position. Beijing is ranked at 36th, while Shanghai ahead at 24th.
