Jet Airways announced on Monday the launch of flights to Heathrow airport from Ahmedabad twice a week from April 3. Ahmedabad would be the fourth Indian city to be linked by the private carrier to London.
The airline already operates flights from Mumbai (twice daily), Delhi (once daily) and Amritsar (six days a week), an airline spokesperson said.
The service from Ahmedabad would be enhanced to thrice a week from May. Jet is offering an inaugural return economy fare of Rs 28,000, plus taxes, on the Ahmedabad-London sector.
