Wipro chairman Azim Premzi' eldest son Rishad Premji will soon join the country's third largest software exporter.
An MBA from Harvard Business School, Rishad, 30, will be joining Wipro "at a level commensurate with his background and experience," the company said in a statement in New Delhi.
His joining has been approved by the board and is subject to shareholders approval, which is required statutorily as he is a relative of a director, the statement said.
Azim Premji has about 80 per cent stake in Wipro, which has a market capitalisation of about $20 billion.
