The Hyderabad-based Satyam Computer Services has bagged four deals in Singapore, Australia and the UAE worth $70-75 million (a little over Rs 300 crore).
The deals, spread over seven years, will give Rs 50 crore to the IT major every year. Billing will be higher for the initial two years.
The two deals from the Singapore government are outsourcing and IT services contracts. For the Emirates Bank in the UAE, the IT giant will implement an enterprise financial management solution.
The seven-year deal will enable integration of support functions and build best-in-class organisational processes for the bank.
In Australia, Satyam will deliver application development and maintenance and consulting services to one of the largest transport service providers.
"We get almost 17 per cent of our revenues from the rest-of-the-world region (other than Europe and Americas). Effective globalisation approach will enable us to consolidate our position in the emerging markets," said Virender Aggarwal, Satyam's director and senior vice- president of APAC and MEIA.
Satyam employs over 380 associates in Singapore, which is also the base for Satyam's global business continuity and disaster recovery centre.
Satyam has been present in Australia since 1998 and provides solutions to over 50 leading organisations, including nine Fortune 500 companies in the ANZ region.
