Private carrier Jet Airways on Wednesday launched its new international flight linking New Delhi and Singapore, making it the airline's third direct non-stop flight to that country after daily flights from Chennai and Mumbai.

As part of its inaugural offer valid till September 30, Jet has introduced a special economy class inaugural return airfare of Rs 10,000, a Jet Airways release said.

While normal economy class return air fares range from Rs 14,500 to Rs 31,655, club premiere fares range from Rs 48,400 to Rs 61,235, excluding taxes, it said. Through the recent codeshare agreement with Qantas Airlines, the new service introduced by Jet would offer

passengers seamless travel on the India-Australia route with daily connections to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth via Singapore.

Jet's chief commercial officer Gary Kingshott was on board the launch flight to Singapore, which took off at 0835 hours from Delhi.
