Reliance Industries has posted a net profit of Rs 2709 crore (Rs 27.09 billion) for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 2481 crore (Rs 24.81 billion) for Q2 FY06.
According to an offi
cial release issued by the company to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday, the total income has increased to Rs 28496 crore (Rs 284.96 billion) for Q2 FY07 from Rs 20939 crore (Rs 209.39 billion) for Q2 FY06.
