Bharti Airtel entered into a strategic partnership with Google on Thursday to offer search services to its customers.
As part of the agreement, Airtel will bring Google search through the Airtel Live mobile WAP portal.
Google will incorporate mobile advertisement products on this portal, which will allow advertisers to reach targeted users with their products and services.
"In India,
the mobile growth has surpassed the growth of PCs. With this unique partnership, Internet will be converged into a handheld device enabling anytime anywhere access to information and entertainment for Airtel customers," Bharti Airtel President Manoj Kohli said.
