In the midst of the battle between the Tatas and Birlas over stake-holding in their telecom joint venture Idea, the government has asked the former to give details of its shareholdings in the JV, as also of some other group companies.
Besides Idea, the Department of Telecom has asked the Tatas to give the details of shareholding in Tata Industries, which holds stake in the joint venture, and other telecom entities -- Tata Teleservises and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra.
