Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Industries Ltd on Tuesday registered a 15 per cent dip in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 at Rs 1,776 crore (Rs 17.76 billion) against Rs 2,091 crore (Rs 20.91 billion) for the corresponding period last fiscal.
The turnover during the third quarter was Rs 18,168 crore (Rs 181.68 billion), as compared to Rs 17,768 crore (Rs 177.68 billion) in the year-ago period, the company said in Mumbai.
