Malaysian co to revamp Bombay High

Malaysia-based Sarku Engineering Services Sdn Bhd recently clinched a deal that involves revamping, replacement, removal and refurbishing of 26 platforms in Mumbai High North, Mumbai High South and Heera.

Sarku Engineering is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Supracrest Petroleum Bhd.

The RM 274.3 million deal -- awarded to it by India's Oil And Natural Gas Corp -- is the company's single biggest overseas contract.

Work on the 'Twenty six Well Platform Project' is expected to begin shortly and is scheduled for completion by April 30, 2007.
