Indian Oil Corporation on Friday reported a 23 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 949.72 crore (Rs 9.49 billion) for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 as compared to Rs 1239.53 crore (Rs 12.39 billion) in the same period
last fiscal.
The total income increased 26.15 per cent at Rs 40,647.30 crore (Rs 406.47 billion) for the second quarter against Rs 32,219.79 crore (Rs 322.19 billion) in the year-ago period, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
