HDFC Bank on Monday reported a 31 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 199.64 crore (Rs 1.99 billion) for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 when compared with Rs 152.29 billion in the quarter ended Sep
tember 30, 2004.
According to a release issued by the bank to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday, total income moved up to Rs 1,283.05 in Q2 FY06 from Rs 867.42 crore (Rs 8.67 billion) in Q2 FY05.
