The Calcutta high court on Wednesday directed the Birlas and their auditor R S Lodha to file their respective affidavits in connection with the case relating to the disputed will of late Priyamvada Birla.

After hearing the two sides, Justice Kalyanjyoti Sengupta asked the Birlas to file their affidavits in-opposition within two weeks and the Lodhas would file their affidavit in reply in the next two weeks.
The matter will come up for hearing on August 25.
The case relates to the Lodhas' petition challenging the caveat filed by the four Birla family members in opposition to the probate application of R S Lodha.
