Faced with complaints of delay, the Railways propose to stremline and strengthen the monitoring mechanism to control factors affecting punctuality.
Announcing this while presenting the Railway Budget for 2003-04 in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Railway Minister Nitish Kumar said it was proposed to introduce a new computerised Coaching Operations Information System.
