Painting a rosy picture of India's potential in the mobile communications market, global telecom major Nokia on Thursday said it expects mobile phone subscribers in India to grow to 100 million (10 crore) in 3-4 years and the company will aim to increase its market share in the country.
"We believe there will be 100 million people in India using mobile phones in 3-4 years...we have a strong market share and we will certainly aim at making that grow," Sari Baldaus, president of Nokia Network, said on the sidelines of a Nokia media workshop, in New Delhi.
She, however, declined to give the company's specific targets for the Indian market.
