The red bridal sari, which was at one time a go-to choice for almost all brides, is in vogue again.
Yami Gautam, who tied the knot with film director Aditya Dhar on June 4 in an intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh, wore a striking red sari for her wedding.
Her vermillion sari featured zari work on the border and motifs. Making a classic choice, she paired the sari with a simple red blouse and gold jewellery.
Wearing a chunky choker on her neck, she accessorised the look with a round maang-tikka, elaborate nose ring and a long gold necklace.
Earlier Dia Mirza, who married Vaibhav Rekhi in a beautiful ceremony in Mumbai on February 15, chose a Raw Mango Varanasi silk brocade sari for the occasion.
The sari featured floral barfi jaal with butaa, and Dia paired it with a silk blouse and a customised organza odhani.
Styling the look with an intricate gold choker, Dia rounded off the look with gold bracelets and a matching maang-tikka.
