Want to look sophisticated?

Flowing silhouettes, knee-length dresses, regally draped saris with embellished borders and pallos, kurta-chudidar suits, sexy cholis …these were the elements that made up designers Swapan and Seema's collection.

Almost every ensemble had a subtle shimmer. The colours included lots of gold and splashes of maroon. We also saw dressy embellished belts in mud green and pink, draped around dresses in dull gold.

Can you wear this? Yes. The collection was very wearable, especially for dressy occasions. The cuts and drapes of the sari were very feminine and elegant.
